$2000 Stimulus Checks For Pennsylvanians

A $2000 direct payment is being proposed by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf for Pennsylvania residents.

Wolf's plan to use the state's budget for relief is blocked by the Republican-led general assembly.

They claim it will cause inflation to worsen.

The Republican Party should pass his Pennsylvania Opportunity Program, he urged.

Every Pennsylvanian who earns under $80,000 will receive a direct payment of $2,000 under the program.

It is expected that 250,000 people would apply if the program was ever passed.

According to the governor, the cost is just one-tenth of one percent of GDP
