IRS Will Start Hiring Customer Service Representatives Soon

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS)  will hire more customer service representatives with its newly expanded budget.

They allocate more than $3 billion for hiring new employees.

These customer service representatives will answer phones during the 2023 tax filing season.

The $3.2 billion that is being allocated toward service funding is part of the larger $80 billion expanded budget signed by President Joe Biden last week.

Though there is no official notice still now when the agency will start hiring.
